Starting Fall 2017 I will be teaching at Haverford College in Pennsylvania. I teach a wide range of courses mostly focused on macroeconomics. Courses include Principles of Macro, Intermediate Macro, Senior Seminar in Macro, International Finance, and Econometrics. My courses for Fall 2017 are Advanced Macro and Econometrics.
From a pedagogical perspective I value real world data analysis, which encourages active learning and long-term memory. Students in my classes will encounter challenging, real world problems that require using judgement to apply textbook knowledge to create solutions. For example, my International Finance students engage in a semester long foreign exchange trading simulation.
