I received my PhD in economics from the University of Oregon and my BA/MA in economics from Boston University. My research explores the impact and formation of expectations within the context of macroeconomics and finance. Starting in Fall 2017 I will be teaching at Haverford College. My blog enhances both of these activities by highlighting data related to economics, finance, and expectations.
For fun I enjoy exercising. I began my athletic career as a high school rower. When I went to BU I switched to Track and Field and ended up running several marathons under 3 hours. Recently I have taken up rowing again and had the great pleasure of rowing with my father in the Head of the Charles in 2015.
